    Synopsis

Tyreqe Anderson, a promising high school student aspires to be the next big rap star. Upon taking his music to a popular nightclub that has launched other local talent to stardom; ironically, Tyreqe’s gritty, gangster lyrics manifest an altercation with a group of delinquents, Spider and his crew, who truly live that life.

Consumed with delusions of grandeur, Tyreqe disregards his previous encounter only to meet Spider and his crew again, spurring a wild chase through downtown Newark, New Jersey. Moments later, a body bleeds life out onto the cold streets, making Tyreqe an infamously credible figure in a world he sought only lyrically to portray.

Now fearing for his life Tyreqe is persuaded by his mother to visit his estranged father. The inadvertent reunion leads each of them to a crossroad to determine what road is best to take for the future.
