BIO

MICHAEL STORM was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Sandra Brown and Charles Foster. At the age of 8, Mike made his approach to the stage, asking his music teacher if he could perform for his classmates prior to class. The teacher obliged, immediately discovering his brass stage presence when the classroom erupted with laughter as Mike performed a mild Richard Pryor comedic routine. This led to Mike hosting the school talents shows over the next three years where he showcased his ability of over forty different character impressions to introduce each act.
Surrounded by a talented family of singers, artists, and musicians it is apparent that his route to a career on stage was inevitable. Mike's uncles Sandy and Curtis Foster are enshrined in the Gospel hall of fame with the iconic Five Blind Boys of Mississippi and the Alabama group of the same name. His cousin, Deidra Foster, won a Grammy award in 1998 with the Central State choir, before releasing an album of her own and eventually touring with Daruius Rucker (Hootie and the Blowfish), Jessica Simpson, Heather Headly and a list of others. Before long, Mike would announce his own arrival to the forefront of the entertainment scene.
In high school Mike became a introvert but his passion to entertain wouldn't die. After putting together a successful school party he became the official DJ for all the school events until his graduation. He, and his brother, also teamed up to win the school talent show every year performing dance routines along with other classmates and friends. Mike and his brother eventually teamed up with two other dancers and entered the largest dance competition in the country (the Midwest Breakaway)... and won!
Shortly thereafter Mike and his brother teamed up with a new group consisting of choreographer Shane Sparks (You Got Served, So You Think You Can Dance) and Carmen Electra. With Mike's focus now on sports, Shane and Carmen set their sites for California and, the group dismantled.
Mike transitioned on stage to a hip hop rap artist. At the first Black Family Reunion event held in Cincinnati,Ohio Mike, and his friend David "Fingers" Haynes, captured the attention of BET cameras covering the event as well as R&B singer Stacey Lattisaw. Ms. Lattisaw expressed interest in managing the duo who were already under management; however, procrastinating to make a decision, Dave went on to tour as a featured drummer with Regina Bell, Prince and Chaka Kahn while Mike struggled to find serious artists to provide music for his creative rap wit. After winning a rap competition, accapella, to claim the title as the city's best rapper Mike fell back into the shadows. Still, that would not be the end of Mike's entertainment career.
As a competitive sprinter, Mike's original goal was to compete in the Olympics but a lack of financial support and transportation shifted him away from his dream. Years later, an altercation landed him in trouble with the law and Mike found himself questioning his future. Friends and family suggested he pursue a career in modeling but Mike, despite his love for stage, was a bit camera shy. With a finely tuned track & field physique, one day, out of curiosity, Mike wandered into the Lillian Galloway International modeling agency in his hometown. The owner, Lillian Galloway, shared her knowledge of the business and ensured him he had the look to succeed. Weeks later, in the middle of his first modeling job, Mike realized he may have been comfortable in front of an audience but this was a different type of audience, a hands on, up close and personal audience. Just fifteen minute into a photo shoot for a college magazine Mike walked out.
Years later while attending college Mike garnered the attention of a modeling consultant (Laura O'Connell) who further convinced him of his modeling potential. Weeks later a newly confident Mike Storm entered a modeling competition and was selected. At the suggestion of Ms. O'Connell Mike visited two other agencies landing 5 modeling jobs in his first week. Over the next 3 years Mike became the most sought after and highest paid male model in the city appearing in national advertisements for Delta Airlines, NIKE, Adidas, G.E., CINTAS, Proctor & Gamble and others.
Over the next several years Michael became a regular for these companies until deciding to explore opportunities outside his city. Landing on the Jenny Jones show Mike's appearance sparked the shows highest rating where the moniker, "Your name should be Campbell's cause you are mmm-mmm good from an audience member made him a familiar figure on television and among the shows opening credits. Mike went on to make multiple appearances on the show and made brief appearances in a few films as well before auditioning and landing the role of Ronnie a.k.a. "puerta rifa in Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion. Still, Michael's newfound fame would not be the apex of his life experiences.
